Garden Lites (A GFAF Expo review)

We met the sweet folks from Garden Lites at the Expo, and after trying some samples of their newest products, we decided we HAD to pick some up at Target today. See:

Since their products are SO super tasty, I thought I’d tell y’all a little more about them!

Garden Lites is a Classic Cooking, LLC brand based out of Queens, NY that produces delicious vegetable soufflés, and dishes. Since 2008, Garden Lites has raised the bar in healthy foods by delivering full flavor without sacrifice.”

They have some super delicious muffins as well. They’re 1/3 vegetables, and are tasty served warm or at room temperature after defrosting.

Their muffins are available in five flavors:

Banana Chocolate Chip
Chocolate
Blueberry Oat
Carrot Berry
Golden Corn

All of their products are available in the frozen section of various stores nationwide, including:

Target
Publix
Walmart

Everything that we’ve tried of theirs has been delicious, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend their products to you . . . so go check them out! 🙂

The GFAF Expo (Initial Thoughts)

I’ve been waiting for today since I opened an email in February stating that I had been selected as an Official Blogger for the Gluten Free Allergen Friendly Expo for Atlanta.

And y’all, it was all I’d hoped for and more! It was SUCH an AWESOME experience. At this moment, I can’t even put into words the amount of fun I had, or the number of things I learned. Over the next couple weeks, I’ll share ALL kinds of fun things related to the expo as well as some fun product reviews!

I hope y’all are having a wonderful weekend, and that you’ll check back on Monday for the beginnings of my GFAF Expo reviews!!

We’re Here!!

Big Chow Grill . . . an upcoming restaurant review!

Okay y’all, we ended up going to Big Chow Grill for dinner, and it was delicious! 🙂

They have all kinds of options, and you create your own stir fry, but it doesn’t end there! You can also have them make your stir fry into a salad, or into a coconut soup. You get unlimited access to the stir fry bar, and can create as many masterpieces as your heart desires!

The bowl you see above was the base for my coconut soup, along with some tilapia.

Overall, our experience at Big Chow Grill was awesome!!

This site is up to date with all my posts from February on, as well as some earlier archives. Everything else will slowly make it’s way over here after the expo, but I wanted to make sure that all of my expo related posts were here first. 😉

We went to church Saturday Night to leave more time for meal prep on Sunday Morning. Our menu included:

Lima Beans
Green Peas
Corn
Deviled Eggs
Sweet Potato Casserole
Spinach Potatoes

Rotisserie Chicken from Sam’s Club, and last but DEFINITELY not least . . .

Strawberry Pie! Which is my new favorite dessert. 😀

Besides eating, we watched God’s Not Dead, and spent the day celebrating the Resurrection of our Savior!
